Terms of Delivery

Dahlia tubers are shipped by post in spring (from March 1st onwards).

You pay for the dahlia tubers at the time of ordering. It may then take several weeks to months before you receive them, depending on when you placed your order. You will receive your dahlia tubers well before the appropriate planting time.

If one of the ordered dahlia varieties is unavailable, we will send a substitute variety that closely resembles the one you ordered. (This rarely, if ever, occurs — and we will always consult with you first.)

If you do not want a substitute under any circumstances, please let us know in the comments field.

Shipping costs within the Netherlands are €8.95. Standard shipping with track & trace via MyParcel, a parcel service by PostNL. €8.95 covers the cost of a parcel label and packaging materials. We are a small business and do not ship enough volume to negotiate a lower rate with the parcel service.

You can also pick up your dahlia tubers yourself in April or May. You will receive an email notification when it is your turn. You can also indicate when you would like to come — simply send us an email or mention it when placing your order. We prefer that you wait for the notification you will receive from us.

You can only pick up dahlia tubers that have been ordered in advance. We do not have a shop, so please do not make spontaneous visits to purchase dahlia tubers. Only during the month of May is it possible to purchase dahlia tubers at the barn on weekends. Please follow our Facebook page or Instagram for updates.

Different postal rates apply for dahlia tubers shipped abroad.

We do not ship dahlia tubers to the USA, UK, Canada, or Norway.
